Hi All:

I have lost the "compression" spring for one of the Aisin manual locking hubs on my FJ40.

Anyone know of a source for replacement parts for these hubs?

For the matter, is the compression spring really needed for correct operation of these lock-out hubs??

Thanks much!

Alan

As far as I have been able to determine, toyota makes only the most basic service parts for the Aisin hubs available (gasket, dial o-ring, etc.) Otherwise, they will sell you an entire hub for about $250 each.
I'd bet someone here on MUD has a spare spring.
