Here a view from the ridge heading up to Devils Racetrack. You can kind of see the road we turned off on.

It looked like we were out of luck to see any movement of the rocks. Just a little flooded.

We then headed to Furnace Creek for some food supplise, and some food we didn't have to cook. We got to the toll booth and an info centre. Graham read on a sign that the general store in Furnace Creek closed at 5pm, and it was a little after 4pm, when we left the toll booth. We did at least 120km/hr when we didn't have to slow down for road work.

We finally got to Furnace Creek with a few minutes to spare. The sign on the store says it closes at 10pm. We burned all the way down there for nothing.

Found an old steamer, not the kind Graham leaves behind at campsites.
