Anyone here plan to attend this event? It’s Oct 10-13.
I plan to hit the road on Thursday morning, and head home on Sunday.
The web site hasn’t been updated yet for this year’s event, but the dates are accurate on the Superlift web site.
I’ve already reserved my tent sites. If you plan to go you may want to look into reserving something soon!

Yes Lake Rat and I went last year, had a great time. It's a great event and the MS boys do it right! Very family friendly. Not sure about this year, have a conflict with the date I am unsure if I can get out of.

Even though I told Bodean that I was coming up this year, I probably won't be making it. Not because I don't have the time from work or the money, it's just that I am planning on retiring from work next March and I want to hang on to as much un-paid leave as possible for an earlier exit date plus some extra money as I walk out the door. It is a great event and the MS boys know how how to do it right and it is a good time. To me the best part is..most of the wheelin' is in the shade, not that there wasn't plenty of areas where the sun gets to you, but you do have the opportunity to get out of the sun on a lot of trails, unlike some places here in Texas. Kinda funny, Jason and I were the only ones from Austin that made it last year and we came back preachin' how we need to get more people from here to go and now we're the two that won't be going.....

I know the park is already all booked up for that weekend. No more RV sites or tent sites left.

There's a nice KOA campground really close to the park. Maybe 10 min.

There is a Khights Inn that is about 1 -11/2 miles from the park. It ios convenient as it is at the intersection of the road that leads to the park and the main hwy. I stayed there last year and I think I still have the phone number. If you make it to the meeting tonight, I'll see if I still have it. There is also a Red Roof inn a little further into town and a couple of others around.

the registration hasn't opened yet. all I know is it's supposed to be early august. don't let that stop you from finding and getting a place booked for the weekend.

i can't make it due to i have to be at my deer lease helping trim trees (no joke). if i don't show up it will cost me an extra $200 onto my lease. ya'll have fun. Bodean get with me again and i will give ya'll stuff for the ralle.

I have a buddy from San Marcos coming. My brother in Houston, a Jeep friend, and maybe a buddy from Kerrville.
