The Cochise County Range Riders are having an encore of their annual picnic run this Labor Day weekend. This is usually a 2-3 day deal with plenty of camping/RV space. Base camp is near Washington Camp (Lat 31.4164, Long-110.7030) which is near Patagonia in southern AZ. The runs in this area range from 1 through 4+. I ran a few trails two weeks ago and they were considerably more difficullt than years past due to the rain. This year's "easy" run claimed two drive shafts. The hard run claimed some sheet metal and a steering box.
The Range Riders are a great family oriented club with all makes of vehicles and skill levels.
I am not the run leader, but I will be traveling down from Phoenix to join up with them.
