Well...this didn't happen in 09' due to to economic reasons, contact cancelling, work, etc.; however I have high hope for 10' as a better year across the board for putting this together again!
Same tentative plan as last year, a week (7 days) from Ketchikan, AK (home town in is the vid link below) to just about anywhere the wind / tide / interests takes us in southeast AK. Looking to fill spaces for two more couples (or five people) for splitting boat share/food/fuel with a skipper per diem for some time in June.

Cool video - What a beautiful place. The last frontier for sure.

Cant make it but will definetely go back again some day.

Yeah, the final plan is to fly into Wrangell, Ak and spend a few days on the Stikine River with a old firend who owns a jet boat tour company doing some cold water run off Steelhead fishing, hunting and exploring - its an endless river system if you have a jet rig to get through the 5" of water that they require to run in.
Then we are getting the boat in Wrangell and spending 2 days fishing in the competive King Salmon Derby before heading down the coast to hunt geods & garnets (diving trip) in the Onslow Islands and finnaly up the coast of Prince of Wales Island and back to ketchikan where we will put in some halibut for the freezer boxes & fly back...it will be a full 9 days!
 
Later! - were flying out to Alaska tomorrow - I will post up some gratuitous scenery pics as soon as I can during the trip...:flipoff2:

S.E. = Southeast Alaska. The southern panhandle from norther B.C. to Yakutat. Famous for calm water, warm weather and the best fishing in the world.
