My dog decided to express his displeasure with me by chewing up some of the plastic and fabric covered trim in the back on my 2008 GX470. He had almost ripped down the top panel on the drivers side but i was able to reattch a couple clips so i could drive without it flopping around too much. Anyone have any tips on where to source these panels and how much of a pain it might be to replace them myself?

An autowrecker will be the best, those are low demand so they probably won't cost a lot. They usually end up in the crusher anyways. Changing them isn't that hard, just find all the clips and get them loose.

that's what i was thinking as well but i wasn't able to find any that listed a GX470 anywhere near me. I ended up buying the two upper panels online after getting the part numbers from my local dealer. Not the cheapest route to be sure but certainly faster and easier.
