Source for used parts

Does anyone have a reliable source for used parts for older Hilux's? I have been on Facebook pages but every single person that DM's is all "Morning mate! We can provide all your parts for $250 shipped! We just need your SSN, bank card number, mothers maiden name, current mailing address, and your date of birth."

what truck do you actually have. a lot of mini truck stuff overlaps. pre 05 hilux.

2001 LN166 Hilux 3L with a turbo. I need a window actuator and motor that will cross reference to a lot of other Hilux models, but I can't see that they will to any 4runners or tacomas or anything.

are you in AK or CR?
I would honestly think these would cross with the 4Runner / surf as well. pretty certain they actually use the same short doors. part number can change based on plug or pigtail length.
but body wise these bodies are the same from 88-05/6. should also match 90-95 4runner.

We are in Costa Rica where the Hilux is. I would think that they would make then as easily interchangeable as possible. My biggest issue is finding any decent supplier at all. I don't really care if I need to hack the plug end off and hard wire em (this thing has already been hacked in several ways by the PO anyway.

my biggest issue is dealing with fb and getting anyone to actually respond.

i use ebay and partsouq for number interchange info as well.

Everything I am seeing shows that they are not interchangeable with the Surf/4Runner. The places that I d find new Toyota Motors for the windows they want like $300-$450. The regulator is pretty easy to come by.

the 4Runner numbers are crossing back to double cabs.
imo it would be worth a look, if you can find one.

I just put in an order for what is undoubtedly a s***ty aftermarket part from Euro4x4parts. To be honest I will be amazed if it makes it here. Hard to send stuff with no real postal service or addresses. :-/
