Hey all- Happy New Year!

I have a bj44 and I can not find the roof gaskets or the gasket between the tub and sides. I'm thinking that if I source a couple for a troopy I'd be able to cut them down to fit. Any advice as to where to source an OEM Troopy set?

Thanks,

Pete

Have you asked your nearest Toyota dealer if they have them ?
Would be the first what I would do.
If your gaskets are not in a bad/evil shape you can rescue/ refresh them.
Put them in an old pillow and wash them in the washmachine *at 30 degree celsius with a mild detergent and than use amor all or a similar product for the rubber gaskets. After that procedure the rubber is as good as new .
Cheers
Peter

* ask your girfriend or wife if you can`t start the washmachine ;)

Well the nearest dealer can't look up a part number without a serial number...... But I may be able to pull some strings thru one of the local shops and have it checked.

Unfortunately my gaskets- at least the top one- are pretty shot. And according to toyodiy the one for the hj47 is NLA so unless there is another troopy model with a similar gasket I guess I'll have to move on to another idea. Unless there are good aftermarket alternatives.....

Actually the roof gasket for the HJ47 is not listed on Toyodiy- the 40 is at $330. X2= ouch.

Interestingly the body to side gasket is looks to be cheaper on the hj47 than the 40.
