These rims are confirmed available in the Japan market. I am in the process of bringing one set in.

The options are "black out" (first picture) or regular (second picture).

Best regards.

I'll check my stock tomorrow and see if we have any left. We usually have to remove the 20's as they are rubbish for armored cars. Problem is the shipping cost will be more then what the wheel cost.

You have a great deal of experience and knowledge on this subject. So, rather than my guessing why, could you take a minute and explain exactly why the 20" rims are "rubbish" on armored cars? Is it Load Capacity? Lack of acceptable tires in 20" sizes? Conflict (dimensionally?) with mods to the vehicle? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

I'm guessing it has to do with the type/size/availability of puncture and explosion resistant tires you want on an armored vehicle... Let's see what he says.

Long story short the alloy wheels do not do so well with the weight, and its better to have more rubber then wheel. After armoring to a FB6 we are around 4900kg and on the FB7 we are closer to 5500kg in curb weight so wheel/tire combo is very important.

For armored vehicles we normally install a CRF or Runflat device (works like a bead lock but inside the wheel, that stops the tire coming off the rim incase of a blow out)

There are a few cert wheels out there but normally 18inch max with a 1600-1800kg rating, we then install a 123+ load index (1550kg min) tire

Sorry I check with our warehouse - They have already sold the 20" we had removed from the armored vehicles already.

Got it. Thanks very much for the info.

One day get one of your buddies to snap a pic of that wheel in motion and post it.
Looks good!
