I'm planning to put a 75 Series FF rear axle with factory discs under my FJ55 and I was hoping that someone could suggest a source for them here in the US. I know that some of the Toyota dealerships in western Canada carry them but they are pretty expensive and the shipping would be a PITA. I'm willing to rebuild it.

Thanks!

here ya go,,

its in Canada. but where else you gonna find 70 series axles? shipping is cheaper than you expect. try a quote with a shipping company you know, Vancouver to where ever.

Other option is ENS industrial in Saskatoon. They get old trucks on trade and they just park them. so I am told.

Sorry I can't help ya for a US option.

Once in a blue moon MAF or SOR has them, but they sell pretty quickly. If G&S cruiserparts has one, I can bring it down in a couple of months for gas money.

Sadly, the only 7* series FF rear disc brake set-up we had in the shop just sold, attached with the front...both electric locking diffs: HERE

There will be more showing up on these shores as the JDM scene for Canada moves into the early to mid 1990 7* series.

Was the rear discs an option or was it standard beyond a certain point?
Just curious:)

If you are asking for Canada, we never got them in the 70 series.

It was an Oz and JDM option in the 1993 model year. Don't know about Europe, but the rest of the world did not get it until late 1997. You guys down under are spoiled :)
