I just picked up a used one for a 4-runner, in the 4 runner they bolt to the dash, just like in the 70 series, so yes, in a matter of speaking you could retro it into a 60, just bolt it to the dash.
I wanted the altimeter from the 4 runner one. I am going to try to mount it on the roof in an overhead console. We will see.
Oh, and the real reason I posted was that on my cruiser the harness has a plug for the OEM clock/inclinometer. Mine is a post 85, just to let you know that not all 60s will need wire work done to make it work.
