Beautiful.

I love Santispac.

When we were down that way we toured some Missions in the mountains outside Loreto. Stunning scenery up there, and pretty much just as it was 300 years ago. We coulda used a 4WD, but we only had a rented Sentra at the time...

;p

Thanks for the wonderful photos!

very nice indeed.
interesting, the part about the indios...
how did the CTT do?

Yes, there are other folks who have apparently had issues with the Seri. Did you read the article where a helo pilot was shot in the leg?

Anyway, not a reason to stay out of Sonora, that place is worth it's weight in gold.

CTT worked out very well. The first night we were there the wind kicked up hard. We climbed up there with a deck of cards, bottle of wine and a bag of jerky, kept us safe and warm and held together tight. No sand got in. (My GF is a sh*tty poker player though.)

I am very happy with the tent. I just left the bedding up there, sin pillows, when traveling and that saved some room in the vehicle.

That being said, the ladder sucks ass...to put it bluntly.
The pins and wires are stupid and it is kinda flimsy at just the wrong angle. I may be designing a telescoping aluminum one if I can find the time this winter.
