Where exactly do you drill and tap the steering box for hydraulic assist (like West TX offroads RedNeck Ram setup)? I've been looking around and haven't found the write up I thought I saw. Anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Luke

Oh yeah, small block, Saginaw Scout Box and pump.

tap caps or steel body itself?

tons of writeups, got a box rolling around here somewhere.

caps are nice in super tight spots, but are not the best IMO.

steel if in tight you have to use super tight 90s to get the lines
going out of the way.

I think I'd try to tap the box at the appropriate place to hit the right passageway. I've seen the write up for tapping the aluminum top cap and the end bell. Somewhere I've seen tappings on the body of the steering gear itself. I just can't come up with the pictures now.

Here's a Toyota box, for the record.
