Worst thing out first: this thing sounds Horrible
they were charging up the batteries of some showroom 250's and a technician started up one with its bonnet up, was asking the salesman about the GVWR and joked "they really smoothed out the new diesel.." he cut me off saying this is NOT the diesel." ...awkward silence ensued with the T24 ticking and burping in the back lol
otherwise, i loved it!
It looks way better in real life; more chiseled than the 300 series, deceivingly compact from the outside yet spacious inside, the proportions are just right.
The materials felt great, and so did the quality of the buttons and dials. lower door plastics were the only "bad" plastics. Knee pads were surprisingly soft. this thing feels like its on a mission inside out.
You don't feel "on top" of the car, the dash IMHO is in the perfect height for a commanding view outside yet feeling comfortably snug in the cabin. am about 6'1, even the rear was equally "ample" with my driving position up front. not a limo but quite good especially with the seats reclined.
so, vs. the USDM, GCC/Arabian Gulf versions get:
Finally, they also had a JAOS fitted one on display. The over fenders (attached with 2 sided tape btw, fake bolts) give about 9mm of width on each side, here is a shot of the side profile.

so, vs. the USDM, GCC/Arabian Gulf versions get:
- optional Modellista bumper add on. I like it, even though it will get bashed up very quickly (some - more - angles)
- 80L + an optional Aux 30 Liter fuel tanks, that’s 21+8 Gallons in freedom units. The local-EPA-equivalent claims 14.2 KM per liter, or 33.4MPG for the diesel version or a range of ~970 Miles! Of course that’s the theoretical maximum of the stock car in optimum highway conditions. Gas version is rated at 10.6KM/L (25MPG) with a range of 725Miles. keep in mind neither is hybrid so fuel tanks are the regular non-pressurized ones.
- No underbody protection
- No 2 inch receiver (I think it bolts up to the frame, so it can be added after the fact?)
- Option for a Beige interior, either cloth or leather. (more - angles)
- GVWR is all over the place, between 2950-3000KG (6500-6613lbs) for the gas and up to 150kg more for the diesel (6945lbs).
