What a Trip! One of several questions I have is..was the fuel you purchased of decent quality. Meaning did it burn okay, clog filters or otherwise mess with your engine?

Nicely rigged out 60, sure must have been nice being up on top of the rig at night. Kinda guarding the "house" and avoiding the ground crawlers..

Mark, where are you in Colorado? We're heading up there in the first week of June. To Denver from New Mexico and then across to Delta/Grand Junction area and on to California from there.

The beach pic with the hammock looks like a corona add. Beautiful pics and country. :)

Oh, I've got hundreds of pics, but I think those eighteen capture the mood of the trip. I also have 50 pages worth of travel essays including a ten page write-up describing the horrors of Big Mama's complete meltdown in the worst possible place - on a dark highway just outside of Guatemala City. I'll post those essays on the web soon.

Fuel quality was fine. All the gas stations in Mexico are owned by the government and standards are relatively high. I did have a problem with my carb getting clogged (part of Big Mama's meltdown), but I'm pretty sure that was due to my rusty aftermarket fuel tank. The tent was great. Here's closer photo of it. It's a skydome. Highly recommended. Yes, the cruiser has screens on the headlamps.

Charles, I'm in Boulder. Let's meet for a beer when you stop through this area.

Awesome! That must have been an amazing trip. I am new to cruisers and was actually about to post a question about a rear sliding windows. Is there a kit or is that a tough upgrade?
