Nice car and nice Pictures!

Where you was wheeling?

:)

How much weight have your car, and how much have the car from your wife? Therefore they are armored, it may depend on factory specs ;-)

My car weighs a little more than 3,500-3,600 kgs. My wife's easily over 4,000

Very nice sir.

So, a quick question: why do you armor your vehicles in Peru? My experience and knowledge of Peru is that it is a reasonably safe developing country.

It is for 99.995% of the population and visitors. Street violence and thefts are on the rise. Most people worry about security in general. Our cars are armored because kidnapping used to be rampant here and I'm fortunate to have a slightly different economic situation than what people are used to. Even though lima is almost 9,000,000 in population everybody knows who is who. What you have in assets or in your bank account is public gossip.

sometimes glad to be just another poor guy ..

On topic .. how it perform with all extra weight .. acceleration and more important brake wise ?

Funny. Im from your homeland. The famous poet with my username is my grandfathers cousin.

All performance is dismal. Only after my radflo suspension upgrade is anything up to par with a normal car.

Braking: Horrible and have to change my brakes every 6-7,000 miles
Acceleration: 0-60 in under a minute. And MPG is better measured in Feet Per Gallon probably.

Up side: It has a cool box. Its comfortable and safe.

so did you ever spend time here ? you can come back here and life relaxed .. well bit more I mean ..

guess with manual tranny you can help bit on braking department ..

Born and raised there till I was 10 years old. Yeah I actually have a apt in Punta Pacifica, I go back once in a while.

No manual transmission. Thank God.

Tank you for that infomations :)

Nice to see someone using this armored ones offroad!

If you like to be able to adjust the gears Manual, you can google after "econ lock"

Ist's great upgrade, but to use manual gear selection with an automatic car
