Update: Bought a new circuit breaker from cruiser parts and a new resistor from rock auto. Installed and the a/c appears to be cooling. I need to put it all back together and go for a good drive but definitely cool air coming from the vents...so new mystery...why was it not cooling before? Maybe the shop turned the a/c amp adjustor so high the compressor was never allowed to turn on? Assuming the amp continues to work whats the best way to adjust the rpm "regulator"? Let it idle and turn the knob down until the compressor shuts off just below idle then turn it up a half turn? Any suggestions are appreciated.

On my amp the knob is turned clockwise nearly all the way [11 oclock] , if thats any help.

Also if you end up popping another circuit breaker, your fan motor might need attention.

Thank you. When I pulled the fan motor out to test it I found that it was full of oak leaves? I'm hoping cleaning it out will do the trick. I read on the other thread that @wngrog only had a problem popping the breaker when he used high speed on his fan which is the only time mine popped as well 🤷‍♂️. Per his wisdom I'll just stay away from high for now till I suss out the rest LOL!

Thank you for sending. I was looking for a hack of sorts because I don't have a specific enough tach to get this just right. What I did was let the truck idle, turn it down until it shut off the compressor then turn it back just enough to kick it back on at idle. Idle is supposed to be 690 so if the clutch is set to shut off below 700 then theoretically it could be off at idle. Maybe I'm overthinking it....it may have happened once or twice before in my life LOL!
