This is a replacement single diaphragm vacuum advancer for 08/80 through 08/87 2F distributors that have been installed in earlier 2F engines. This is an ideal application for those Land Cruisers without the provisions for high altitude compensation, where the outer vacuum diaphragm is no longer required.

The vacuum advance curve is very similar to the curve for the 08/76 through 09/77 advancers, and advance begins at 3.94" Hg (100mm Hg), the same as the NLA 2F advancer (Part Number 19220-61020). The vacuum advance upper stop limit can be set by adjusting the position of the two locking nuts on the actuator rod. Installation requires drilling out the tapped blind hole used to secure the original dual diaphragm advancer to the distributor housing. No other modifications are required.

I have a limited supply available for $65 $60 each shipped.

Here are two photos of the advancer as installed in an '86 FJ60 19100-61102 distributor I recently refurbished. Note that I had replaced the original signal generator with one from an early '80s Cressida. This distributor is currently installed in my '76 FJ40, and works well.

interested in 2 of them.

Some photos of the kit, including one temporarily installed in the FJ60 distributor that's going into my '71 FJ40 (the FJ40 on the right side of the photo to the left).

UPDATE:

Now sold out. I'll be using the last two in my inventory to convert early 2F (1/75 through 8/76) distributors, 19100-61020 , to vacuum advance. Watch for these distributors in the For Sale forum in mid-January.
