Fellow MUD'ers

I'm posting to regretfully inform you all that this will be the last chance for those of you have not yet purchased my "Subwoofer Upgrade" to get one now as I will no longer be able to produce them much longer.

I'm not one to air out laundry on the forum but I will say I'm in a bad financial situation and will be selling my LX450. My wife and I had a newborn son in July and due to complications with his birth she has not yet been able to return to work. The bills keep coming and I'm killing myself everyday to make sure they all get paid in a timely manner. My only saftey net is my LX450 which I own outright and I need to sell it in order to make sure we are financially ok until she can return to work.

I will no longer be able to make the enclosures once the rig is gone. Although the template is set up on a router jig I will not be able to use my LX to test fit every enclosure before it is shipped out, yes every single one is test fit before I ship them.

Not to fear I wont stray far from the Toyota family, I actually traded some audio equipment ($1200 my cost) for a lifted 96 Taco Ext. Cab
V6 5 Spd with 135k & 35 x 12.50's today.

If your interested in the LX450, I'm asking $11,900 or a reasonable offer. I'll take less money for a quick transaction as I dont want to draw out the pain of letting her go. For those who dont know my rig please read below....

97 LX450 - Black on Tan with Factory Lockers
146k miles (almost 147k)
2.5" Skyjacker Suspension Lift
Mickey Thompson Classic II Wheels - Brand New (also comes with the stock wheels)
305/70R16 Hankook Dyna Pro RT03 M/T's (less than 300 miles on them)
DEI Hornet 564T Full Blown Car Alarm with Remote Start
Fabtech Dessert Brush Guard w/ 2 - 6" Lights
Lexus Serviced, Complete Ownership history with ALL PO contact info....
I will put the audio back to stock with the exception of the Exile Door Speakers (Front Doors), Leaving the audio in the truck will cost a little more $$$

I'd rather sell it to a fellow MUD'er who will appreciate her and give her a good home, where I can always keep up with her but time is not on my side. I'll wait it out as long as I can, but I will have to put her on ebay if it takes too long to sell....

Thanks & Happy Holidays...

Steve

Not to worry, I wont be going far.....although I shortly maybe without an 80...it does rid me of the addiction to MUD.....lol...MUD is worse than myspace....lol j/k

I dont want to paint a horrific picture to my situation...I'm just running a little low on finances right now.....I'm stretched and I fear something happening and I dont have the finances to take care of what ever situation that may arise in our lives.

Best of luck, buddy - hope your situation clears up soon. Been there, and I'm sure so have many others!

Steve,

For your sake I hope you sell your rig quickly, but hope I can get it from you before you let go of your LX.

GOOD LUCK!

Pics of the LX please......

Sorry to hear about your situation. My recomendation is too Sell your 911 and keep the Toyota. The 911 will never be a family car.

I thought about it selling but it has been in my family since it was new in 1980. My grandfather bought it brand new, gave it to my dad some years later and when my grandfather passed away the car was passed to me. When I was in my 20's my dad, grandfather, and I did the steel slant nose conversion/widebody conversion together over the course of several weekends.

The 911 has too much sentimental value to sell it. I thought about selling my M3 but it's not a street legal car and would cost too much to make it "sellable".

I did however discuss refinancing my house with the bank and thats looking like a liable option right now.....but until I'm signing papers that they are giving me a check, nothing's for sure....

Check your PM....

How may enclosures left?
