The harness itself is free of hacks and appears to be in excellent condition. What you see is what you get.

1981 bj60 front wiring harness.

Includes almost ALL under dash wiring and under hood wiring.

Plugs directly into a fj60 rear harness.

Hello. You mentioned that you bought this for a bj42 project, although it's from a bj60. Is this compatible with the bj42? Also, are the relays and other components operable?

It all depends... If you are wanting to convert your BJ42 to a 12v system this harness will run all of the engine components. You could use your existing harness to run all of the other electrical systems. If you don't have a harness for those systems I have a FJ40 harness I could sell you.

I am going to a manual glow system and will be using an aftermarket harness for everything else.
