Ive got a renorgy folding panel with the control fastened to the folding panel itself, what I aim to do is hook up a pos/neg line straight to my aux battery to a flush mounted anderson connector mounted somewhere on the rig. my question is will the solar panle charging the aux battery damage the IBS relay in any foreseeable way? Or Am I over thinking this?

As long as you have a suitable PWM or MPPT solar controller between the panels and the truck (IBS included) you should be just fine. The controller goes to the battery and doesn't care what else is connected to it.
