It sounds like you are looking for a turn key FJ40 but if you are open to a fixer I have a CA registered 71 FJ40 . I am in the central coast so not to far from you. All 4x4 stuff works and shifts smooth and a bunch of other good qualities including new brakes all wheels. It runs and drives but it sat for so many years it has a ruff idle. It's all tuned up and carb rebuilt, fuel tank treated and sealed, new fuel pump and all that is dialed in so I am thinking it has some stuck valves or blown head gasket. No engine knocks in fact it sounds good off idle. Regardless I won't sell it with a broken engine, this would be fixed first. Anyway let me know if this interest you and I will send photos and a list of good and bad. The tires are absolutely shot due to age so I would be putting on a new set before sale. With the engine running good and I am confident it's dependable and new tires I would want $6500ish. We can even negotiate me giving it partial restoration for the cost of parts and my time. I would have to run the numbers but I think I can make it a good rig minus body work and paint coming in around $10K, $6500 for the FJ + $3500 for parts and labor.Hi guys looking to buy my first landcruiser.
