SOA Shock Options

I realize this will vary from vehicle to vehicle, but does anyone have any data for how long the shocks need to be for fully compressed and extended when using stock springs on a SOA conversion? I know there are many variables here, but a general length. Any input would be appreciated.

Almost everybody told me to get 14" travel in the front and 12" travel in the back and make them fit....

Doesn't really answer your question, but that's what I am doing.
