since the front is working good I am ready to do the rear.I got a set of 55 rears and was planing on doing that with a soa how many leaves are you guys running there are so many I want to pull some but not to many. thanks

I ran all 8 for a while, then dropped the shortest one....easy enuf to pick-pull to work on balancing things out with the front flex once you get them in there.

I had 8+ an extra in front, have since pulled the extra and the shortest....seems to balance a bit better.

I was thinking of pulling the three short ones but wasnt sure if that would be to much .the front is real soft and flexes great .I am trying to match that in the rear also need to gain some height out of the rear .going to make some big spring pads

I run the full pack on my rear end. It rides better on the road than it did with the stock 40 rears, probably because it has a center pin instead of offset. Weren't there some guys on pirate that warped the fj55 rears real fast when they started pulling leafs?

I was planing on a wrap bar .with all the torque I need it .

all what torque?????

:flipoff2:

Ya, wrap bar. It was on my list too, just got to it too late. SUA, 45 rears, rock ledge, broke pinion. It didn't help that I got up on the ledge and then slid down a foot or so with the tires spinning. Not the way I planned on spending my Saturday afternoon! At least Too Tall was there to help...... I'll write something up in the trail reports today or tommorow.

my rears have all leaves in them. and i can stuff the rear really well. with the stock reversed fronts and SOA. my 20* RTI was 1178. i warped one putting the 40 on my trailer before i got the wrap bar in. road ride is great and i only have a little wheel hop when she get's spinning on ledges.
