Hi All:

Trying to help-out a guy in our club. He would like to sell his SOA FJ40 or trade it for a FJ55 or FJ60 (stockish.)

Here is an e-mail from him:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for offering to help with my truck issue. Here is the info on my rig:

1967 FJ40, (rust in the usual places, rear sill and fender wells pretty rough)
Driven every day!!!
SOA with reconfigured leafs front and rear and Rancho 9000s
35x12.5s on new Rock Crawler rims
Freshly rebuilt axles with 4:88's done by Randy's offroad
1978 axle with disks in front
1978 electronic ignition
1978 4 speed transmission and T/C (Leaks in the usual places)
All new cooling system
36/38 Weber on tight, strong F motor with headers and newly built bottom end
Warn winch bumper, after market roll bar, steel side step sliders
All electrics work (Wiring behind dash is ugly as with all rigs this old)
Custom dash with inexpensive gauges, Summit racing seats with 4 point harnesses
Jump seats in good condition
Hard top in fair condition, goes on straight, no rust but gate is banged up

Trade for a FJ55, FJ60 or US$5k.

From what I know about the rig, the tires are 35 inch BF Goodrich MTs, and the original rig was purchased from Mark Whatley of "Cruisers Only" in Wasilla, Alaska. I not 100% sure about what of the work on this truck was done by Mark; I believe the SOA conversion was done at Cruisers Only.

Please contact Phil directly with any questions; he has a few pics he can e-mail you.

Thanks!

Alan
