So who plays in the dirt with 35's?

Do you guys running 37's have any fender issues? Looks a little close for comfort in some of the pics. Also what gear ratios are you using for the 35's and 37's?

I'm running 37"s, I've thrown in 3" lift springs from Pinnacle Engineering, I haven't rubbed yet and I have swapped out my 3.73 gears for 4.56 gearing.

I hope that helps.

Sweet ride, Rig!!! I had to go look to see if you were SOA, and I see that you are. However, there's no mention of a shackle reversal there.........well? And the 3" lift springs are ontop of the SOA? How's it ride??

If your going spring over-yea 35 or 37.

If your staying spring under 33 or 35. You can still go alot of places with 33's.

There again just my opinion.

Here is a pic of my yard planter. ornament with 37's and a built up leaf pack...the pack consists of some mini truck springs some L/C springs and some other random springs from the spring pile.... it is about 83 inches tall....

That looks pretty awesome califj60. What wheels are those?

Once again, for those of you running 37" tires, do most of you have lift springs and SOA or just stock SOA? If you have a stock spring SOA setup, is there much rubbing?

The wheels are stock Toyota centers welded into a 8" wide outer with stock hub caps....

When I did my SO I used brand new flat springs. I didn't want to use lift springs because that would be too tall for what I wanted (plus it wouldn't fit in my garage). With 37's there was no rubbing but as the springs got some miles on them the front has come down a little and now rubs at full stuff on a small area of the wheelwell. I will either do some minor trimming or get some Alcans for the front. I am not running a SR (yet). Still debating on whether or not it would be worth it with the flat springs. The SR might move the front tire towards the rear as it compresses alleviating the rubbing in the front. As for your standard "flat spring SO" you will rub in the front with 37's.

I am still running the stock gears, if you can believe that. Waiting for Waggoner to donate some cable lockers to the needy (me) and then I will throw in some 4.88's.

S&S, my Cruiser sits at 84" with the 37's and flat springs.

For more side pics of my 62, search for the thread "sieben und dreissig."

One last thing, I did put bump stop extensions on front and rear. That helped me almost eliminate rubbing with the flat springs. IMO, these are a must if you stay flat.

I didn't find that thread, but thank you for sheading some light on the spring option.

How do those 4.11's work with the 37" rubber?

I can't really compare my stock gears to a set of 4.88's. Since factory tires I have gone 31's, 33's, 35's, and now 37's. If I had gone straight from factory to 37's, I could give you a better answer. I have no problems in the hills of SoCal, although if it gets really steep I slow to maybe 50-55 mph. When it is flat I can cruise at 75+ all day. I'm sure if I threw in some new gears I would kick myself for having driven all these years without them.

Oh, and my speedo is way off.

Hey DBS311, I just noticed your signature line. You have a classic Bronco. Are you in SoCal Broncos?

Not yet. I moved to SD but the Bronco hasn't made the trip yet. It is still in storage until I can find the time to drive it or trailer it down. Hopefully in a couple months it will be here and I can start meeting up with SoCal Broncos. I have some questions about the club, so if you are a member could you shoot me a PM?
