Figured I should give a little update with it.
Took it camping the last few days.
I can't wait until I get a few drawers in the back of it.
Ideally I would like to copy the African Outback Drawer system.
Drove like a grandma leaving the one morning and managed to do a 150km stretch at 9.3L/100kms driving between 80 and 85. I could have got it into the high 8s if I did it again. Other than that driving 90kms on the trip home did 150kms before touching the full mark. 10.* L/100kms again. I am very happy with the fuel economy.
The truck drives better when it is loaded up a bit. High speed logging road driving wasn't an issue. I was glad I have bright lights on the front of it. Really makes me appreciate the little things. Newish tires will go on saturday, should be enought to last me for the summer, the logging roads are going to kill them. Priced out some Toyo MTs and they were 286 a tire in the 255 size. I was told they would probably be cheaper than the BFGs in the same size.
Did a bit of low range in the truck this round too. I am extremely impressed. It is very capable and it surprised me with a few of the deactivation I went though.
Can't wait for my seat covers to come in, I think this is going to take even longer because of dame canada post.
