So Easy but so Hard

So I was taking off my sidesteps today, I got all the bolts off but that last bolt on the front right side of the car.

How did you get it off, theres like a plate of something with a pipe thats blocking it. I can't figure out away to get around it.

UPDATE

Left side is off but I still can't reach that bolt on the right front side, some plate/pipe is blocking it.

Sorry, I orderd mine w/o the steps. I do know that you have to remove the mudflaps to put sliders on though.
