Since, RFJTOY mentioned it I decided to start the thread on it.
(No such thing as too early)

I'll hopefully be leaving from the Anaheim/Fullerton area Friday about 2/3pm along with IanRogers, and possibly 70ChevFred....will finalize towards the end of next week, but standing pretty firm.

I think RFJTOY, myself and perhaps Smitty will be coming up early Saturday morning - leaving Laguna Niguel around 5ish. Route thru LA dependent on who we pick up on the way. I think Smitty is in, so that means going up the 405 from OC to get him in Redondo.

Anyone else for a Saturday morning romp to Pismo?

I'll be leaving mid-morning on Friday, taking the 15 to the 210 to the 101. Not sure if that passes anyone, but I'm definitely open to a caravan. Anyone taking the 15 up from SD on Friday?

Brent,

Im leaving early Sat AM also.
Are you guys up to meeting at Ventura so I can caravan with yall to Pismo?
Ill pick a place that is easy to exit and get back on the freeway - let you know later.
Im coming from the Magic Mtn area.

The more the merrier. If we truely get out of LN around 5, that would put us in the Ventura area around 7-7:30 if that works out.

Bluto,

I don't see why we couldn't meet up with you.

Brent,

As far as Redondo exits, if you guys can exit Inglewood, there is a Shell station right there that we could meet at. I (and anyone else) can gas up and be right back on the freeway. I should even have my CB working by then so I could get on the freeway and go slow until we meet up and that way no one has to stop for one person (unless more people want to meet us at the Shell). I will also look for better options too as I am not 100% sure that there isn't a better meeting place out there.

Can't make either so have fun everybody. I really want to make this one next year. Drink a few  's for me.

guys, when planning all this, keep in mind that the stretch between Santa Barbara and Ventura can become very clogged on Sunday pms. Think an hour extra crawling on the freeway. I'd say from after 3 pm to 6 or 7 (guessing). You may want to time the return right...

No they are not going to SnT.

Good idea Smitty! Unless someone wants to stop and gas up in Ventura, I think this is a good idea - Ill have my CB on the appropriate channel and meet on the freeway. No wasting time.

Mo,
Sorry to hear that you wont be going. We couldve really circle the wagons with a bunch of white 80s. I hope to be in a Winter trail run with you and everyone these coming months.

Channel of the day will be 4.

Good Idea Smit. Gas wise, we can make it to Pismo on one tank IIRC, but should fill up before hitting the beach!

May need a pit stop in Ventura if not sooner - damn BP meds along with a huge mug of coffee!

Sorry you can't make it Mo - next time!

I'm planning on leaving Hermosa Beach around 3PM and sitting in traffic. I'm hopeful to meet up with PKP and the crew along the way.

David...

Been thru that traffic enough to know I don't want to ever do it on a Friday afternoon/evening. :censor:
