I stumbled upon these seemingly well-made rear window sun screens. SnapShades appear to be an Australian company that now has a footprint in the US. Seems like a win for those of us with kids in the back. I’ve never had any luck with those generic suction cup shades that lose suction to the glass and fall off all of the time.

200-specific screens:

I searched the forum with no hits. Any feedback from Mud on this product? If not, I may order a set and be the first.

I wonder how small the perforations are for keeping bugs out at night knowing that is not their marketed use. If they work as a bug screen too they may be perfect for anyone sleeping in their rig...

I use static cling sunshades for the kids after many issues with the suction cup type. Cheap and work great.

I was thinking the same, but a few of their pictures look like they don't offer a "complete" seal. May just be lighting? I think the goal is sun shade only

I desperately would like to have something like this for my 80 as I built it to sleep inside on trips but can't find a good source. One of the vendors offers something intended for rig camping, but will not respond after multiple attempts to purchase :meh:

I have a pair of these that I picked up a few years ago. They work well for me but all I use them for is light and bug protection when stopped or camping. They are essentially a "sock" that pulls down over the window so half of it is outside the vehicle. I don't know how they would hold up if you were driving around with them. I also don't know if they are still in operation. And they only had a size to fit the second row windows. (I suspect the front row windows have too much of a slant along the front edge for this concept to work.

I bought the full RVSunshades set from Aus a few months ago. Tailgate, 3rd row windows and 2nd row windows. Everything fits great and has been snug. The 2nd row shades have some small magnets that hold them in place well enough, they did come with some 3m strips/clips that will permanently attach to the 2nd row door/window trim for a more secure fit but I chose not to use them.

I’m super happy with them and the kids appreciate them too. They are used to pulling down their own sunshade in Mom’s Sienna so it was a win.

Do you have a link to this product? Sounds like a good setup.

I have the Snap Shades. Got them about a couple months ago. Overall, the quality is decent and they hold in place fairly well. It is held in with tension and a couple small magnets around the outside edge. My 3 year old can easily slide her fingers under it and pull it out of the window, but she rarely messes with it. I have driven with the windows down up to about 40ish mph and had no issues with them coming out or making noise with the wind. The price was definitely worth it to me to get all 4 back windows for my kids and the dog that ride back there.

I do wish they had the back window like the RVsunshades listed above. They are very comparable in style to this brand.
