I bought a grouping of used Snap On tools on Craigslist yesterday as it included a few things I needed and was quite cheap. I figured I could sell the items I don't need in order to recoup my investment.
One of the items I planned on selling is an old Snap On TQR-200 torque wrench. I have a newer Craftsman torque wrench, which is fine, but it's finicky. After looking at the condition of the Snap On wrench (good) and comparing the quality to the craftsman (better), I'm contemplating keeping it. I know nothing about the true quality of these wrenches or whether it's worth keeping, as they no longer make them.
Does anyone know anything about these? It seems to work fine, but is it a bad idea to used a secondhand torque wrench of questionable age?
Thanks,
Matt
