has anyone broke them yet? and will they hold up to a welded front diff? ???

the guy that makes them says they will.

IMO, a welded front diff is a poor idea in any circumstance....even if the smurf holds, the inner axle is very likely to break.

I've heard lots of good reports on the product.

I know what a welded axle is like but what is the difference if i use a locker or welded dont they both fully lock so wouldnt I be just as likely to break with a locker

actually, under power yes. However, a locker does give when not under power and that's when your steering is "only" difficult and not "impossible"

Additionally, when you shift into 2wd low for EASY steering, a welded front axle will never give, and it will steer like crap regardless.

IMO, for $200, a front locker is a very worthwhile investment. Keep the welded diff in the rear.

thanks woody I geuss ill get another locker when my smurfs get back
