I’ve been getting some evap codes and it’s not the gas cap. I want to learn how to smoke test the gx, I am a rookie at this.
Where is best place to introduce the smoke? I googled a bit but couldn’t find a definitive answer.

I do have the fsm documents for what to test, but it doesn’t appear to specify a specific location and I don’t want to screw anything up. I’ve got evap hose, spring clamps, extra Pcv and vsv valve, etc. Just unsure how to begin.

Any other advice from people that have done this is appreciated. Smoke tester:

Usually we go from the purge valve back. If you have a gas cap adapter that works too. Either way there is a vent hose from the canister to the fuel filler neck that needs to be clamped off.
