OK, I took my new (old) FJ60 Cruiser to the smog station last week,Its fail smog check with the following reading

HC(ppm) CO(%) NO(ppm)
MAX AVE MEAS MAX AVE MEAS MAX AVE MEAS

Test at 15 MPH 2143 RPM 131 43 205 .87 .16 1.52 1085 406 130

Test at 25 MPH 2310 RPM 103 32 187 1.10 .15 1.50 1120 349 132

MEAS = Amount Measured

I fail HC and CO,Is its running to rich or i have problem with my EGR ?
I need help to fix this emissions problem.
Any suggestion will be very helpfull :-[

Thank to all

My toy is stock 85 FJ 60, 2f engine with 3 " lift, 33" tire and no slip.

SInce your NO (NoX) is low, your EGR is likely working. The high CO and HC are common FJ60 smog test failures. There are lots of smog control devices the can fail and cause high CO and HC. I'd start with the air injection system and make sure it is functioning correctly - air pump and control valves. Also check the plugs to see if its running really rich - black plugs could indicate a carb problem.

How do i check air injection system ?
My spark plug look fine.

Thank! :-\
