Well first of all, I searched and found a bit of info about smelly cats, and have determined that there is no grease, oil, tranny fluid, antifreeze or other bodily fluids leaking on my cats. When the outside temp gets to 95+, I get a smell like burning plastic and exhaust mixed. Sniff tested it down to the cats. It only does it when the outside temp is high, no matter how hard I work it at 90 degrees, (ie pulling a camry on a car trailer from Ontario oregon to Moscow ID,) it never makes that smell. Any Ideas?????????

Also, some poser pics from Fallon NV about two months ago, Notice my aerodynamic stabilizer :D on the roof and the new angle of the power ant.(the top still goes up and down :D )

And last but not least, I found the car top bag to be pretty handy, I still got 12 mpg and there wasn't much wind noise. I fit two sea bags, two garbage bags of baby clothes, a carseat and some other miscellaneous crap. The sling was kinda cheesy so after I broke the first one I picked up the red straps to help it out a bit. Not the prettiest thing in the world but it can come in handy.

A couple more

One last shot,

did u look in the cat sheild see if theres anything in there maybe? do you smell it from out side the cat or is it more from exhaust?

There are a couple of pebbles in the cat shields, but not much else. The first time this happened was in vegas before I had ever wheeled the thing, and it used to be a mall cruiser in San Diego. Further info, At stop, with fresh air, and already mention conditiions, I smell it really really bad, Moving, no smell. Recirc keeps it out for a while at stop but moving or stopped it eventually gets in. The smell seems to come from the outside of the cats, under the vehicle.
