Some of the guys I work with saw the pictures from the New Years run, and they've been itching to go to the snow. They have friends who also heard about it, and want to join in. Since I've been before, now I'm the group leader.

Here's the particulars: Sunday, March 20 at 1:00 PM we meet at Prince Gas in Lemon Cove.

I think an afternoon run would work, since Daylight Savings Time will be in effect.

The rigs going will be a couple IFS 4Runners, a couple early, built 4Runners, a couple early mini-trucks, my 80, and possibly one Chevy 4X4. These are all employees of local Toyota dealerships-we almost have enough to start a club. :D

If anyone else want to join us, I'd welcome some more experienced folks, but other newbs are okay too.

Enough people to start aclub... How bout you bring your boys to the next meeting?

Sorry about this being planned for a conflicting time. We had a couple less than originally counted.

It turned out to be the 4Runner + 1 Land Cruiser run, and it was slushy most of the way.

"Breaking trail" with more fresh stuff falling.

There was quite a bit of slipping and sliding, especially with the newbies, myself included. We ended up turning around earlier than we probably needed to, right when most were starting to get the hang of it.

There were a couple photo ops on the way out that we took advantage of.

Somehow we all ended up on the top of this little hill.

Well there you go!!!! Bring your boys to a meeting and you all can join the club!!!!

Everyone except the black 4Runner aired down, and he didn't have any trouble. He was also the only one besides me running 33s.

The main thing was hitting icy patches in the off-camber corners, and not having the experience to work the throttle and keep from spinning. I think I went sideways 3 times, and the guy behind me kept doing the same thing.

Didnt see this before but me, tacos, and a jeep went out on the 19th with fresh powder. I got to lead in my stocker and it was fun. had to turn around because some guy we met (in the red truck) that day was getting scared on the icy parts and off camber turns...we almost made it.

We turned around and went on another trail which was actually more fun.

Who knows if there still up...

Thanks Dan! I was going to ask the same thing? Can we get that pic deleted( bad public image for our club!)
