'07 Acces cab V6 6spd sr5. On 265/75/16.

I feel that it's just geared too tall. But when i realized that it already had 4.56, I was shocked that it isn't low enough for me. There's no way to drop1st, 2nd and reverse gears down is there? No real way to put it in 4lo and disconnect the front end like with manual hubs right?

I have a very similar Tacoma - 2007 4wd Access Cab TRD 4.0L with the six speed manual.

There are two options for lower gearing that I am aware of. Ther Atlas t-case with 3.8 low range gearing, and the Inchworm 4.7 ratio transfer case.

Regards,

Alan

Yeah, I don't NEED lower low range, unless i can throw the atlass or inchworm in 2lo. WAIT, if I go Atlass, then I get a stick for the tcase, and that means that there is a separate part/switch that is a used to engage the front axle? That would solve several problems.

Thanks. I dont like the idea of chain drive, but obviously it hasnt been a problem. And this would address what i'm looking for.
