You plan on wheeling it this summer I assume? I would wait until after the "wheeling season". Every time I did any major work on the mini it was down for a month or two. Just easier to do it when there are no events going on and there's no pressure to finish.

I wheel the least in the months of July and August, because its just too damn hot, so that is when i would start it...

When is the last time you wheeled the Woody anyways? :flipoff2: Only time I see it on dirt, is in John's backyard :grinpimp:

I'll wheel a damn huffy if'n I has too. I'm supposed to be picking up another truck this weekend... Or, I could wheel the 4Runner. I've done it before!!!

damn, a Huffy, now there's something I hadn't heard of in a long time. I rocked a huffy as a kid! :smokin:

yeah i figure it'll probably take a pretty long time to get it done since we won't be working on it everyday. We've still got aidans to wheel, so I'm not too terribly upset. Im just get bored as hell and wanna work on stuff!

I rode mine til the 10 speed only had 1 and the tires rotted off.

I will not be partaking in that park for a while...bad taste in my mouth :(

C'mon, I will check all your knuckle studs before we leave camp and send you some spring retainers..

Patrick, do you have your next project lined up cause there isn't much more you will be able to do to the 60, before long it will either be time to start cutting or start the next one, and the Woody is way too nice to see the wrong end of a Sawzall:smokin:

yeah there won't be any sawzalling haha, okay maybe in the inner fenders but thats it. i have been putting off buying a rear bumper for a looong time for some reason, so id like to get the 4+plus one (http://www.4plusproducts.com/fj60classicrearbumper.html). Only without the jerry can swing out and a centered tire carrier. Then maybe a flat roof rack to hold my rear mounted 42" light bar that i will use to burn a hole in the retinas of all those foolish enough to tailgate me... then maybe a winch cuz i guess they're sort of useful lol.

Did the Germans give up when they bombed Pearl harbor? Hell NO!!!

Thanks Ted! :flipoff2:

Its not that I will never go back to GMP, I just wont be going this Summer with the Franken80...I also hate the drive there, the mountains suck if you dont have a diesel...

Back on Topic...

You better use that driveshaft off-road or it might get stolen...

I've also contacted a 60 guy in NC who just swapped his front SOA axle housing for a D60. Mights save a couple weekends worth of axle prep, so hopefully ill hear back from him tomorrow with some good news.

NOPE!

Just heard back from Johnny! He's got a SOA'd front (bent) and SOA'd 80 rear FF housing (good shape) with my name on them. I just need to find time to head up to NorthCarolina... Anybody going up there and wanna bring them back for some MONEY!!!!!!

Durham, NC. It's sort of western NC based on google maps

EDIT: It looks like i may be taking delivery at GSMTR. Anyone wanna strap the axles to their trailer and drive them back to GA? if not thats alright, ill just throw them in the back of the 80.

you must've taken geography classes the same place Nick took math classes b/c Durham is in EAST NC. :flipoff2: Getting the housings from GSMTR to ATL will not be a problem, we'll find room on a trailer somewhere.
