Ya probably not your style. I think it is a subtle taste but others might not like it. I got some flights at Lazy Dog and thought to try it. Not a huge IPA fan but do like them hazy. When I told wife I liked it she secretly bought a pack.

Drink a beer for a World War ll Veteran, he lived a good life. Always said he'd make 100 and he did. He lived in a Missouri Veterans home for 11 years and up to two days before he still knew who I was and gave me a big smile!

Thanks for letting me post this, thought you guys should know.

Bonnie and I are sorry for your loss, Ron. Glad he had a full and eventful life. Judging from the results, he was a damn good father and mentor. Take care of yourself and family.
Scary thing about this as well as the loss of my 94-year-old mother a few years ago is that we're becoming the "elders." Hope we live up to the examples set by ours.
Jim

I can’t add much more than has been said Ron, man what a great pull...I’m sure you have some awesome moments to smile about as you remember those times.

A little late to the gathering -
Ron, sorry to hear about Dad. He had a great run, and I second the greatest generation. Most live so comfortably now that they’re obviously to what the preceding generations had to go through to get us here.
I didn’t have a Bud or a bottle of fancy booze, but my wife an I both took a shot of some Jameson in his honor.

Thanks guys, it means a lot to me that you all are thinking about my Dad. I know he wasn't one for attention, but he sure would of had a beer with you.

Tomorrow morning we bury my best friend's Mother and Tuesday my Dad, what a week it's been.

You're special group of guys!

We are with you through this. It’s a celebration of life. Not a passing. That is how I would like mine to be when it comes. Sending best thoughts.

Oh damn Ron. I feel like we all just lost someone great.
Sorry to be so far behind in my reading. And sorry for your loss.
I wish we could have had your Pops out on the trail for a Pig Party....

Thanks Jim,

Short story about My Grandfather's good stuff. My Dad and Grandpa would share a shot when visiting and when Gramps died my Dad put the bottle up (early 1960s), I have that very bottle now and going to break it out the day we bury him. Hope it don't kill all of us!

Wow, what a week.

Thanks for sharing your Dad with us Ron. 2 Purple Hearts, that is just amazing. I feel like a better human being just hearing stories about him.

I hope you are doing okay buddy!

Thanks Pablo, he never got to ride in the Mud Hen, but did like my old 40 years ago. He used to call our old Willys station wagons mud hens, so I thought it perfect for me.
So the name is perfect...
