I searched and found a couple similar, but not exact:

2000 LX470
184,523
All stock

This last Tuesday, driving ~45mph on straight and level dry pavement, the SLIP INDICATOR (car symbol with wavy vertical lines under it) came on, beeped continuously and the FRONT RIGHT wheel locked up, pulling the truck to the right.

NOTE: The ABS, VSC and ATRAC lights do *NOT* come on when this happened.

I took my foot off the gas and steered to pull over... then it stopped.

Happened again approximately 1min later.

Since then the light and alarm (beeping) has occurred twice under similar conditions, but without locking the wheel.

A friend has access to a SnapOn VERUS computer, and we pulled the following from the ABS component:

======
DTC List:
5340H/21312 Undocumented Code
======

There were no other codes present.

I called the nearest Lexus dealer and spoke with their head mechanic - he called me back a while later to say he couldn't find anything on that code (hence 'undocumented') and said the one time he's heard of a locked wheel, it was the RIGHT REAR wheel speed sensor that had gone bad and the truck was trying to correct for a non-existent skid condition.

I have not been able to intentionally reproduce this issue (light/alarm or wheel lock), driving at speeds above 45mph on straight, level and dry pavement - and after reading the *similar* issues on here, I intentionally took a curve at speed (in both directions) - but the truck handled as I would expect.

Here's my big problem: I'm in VA visiting family since turkey day, and need to get home to MA. I don't wish to make the 500 mile drive in constant fear of a wheel locking up.

I also don't have the money to get this sorted out right now.

Since the Slip Indicator light is the only one that comes on, is it possible to disable ONLY that part of the system, or would the entire ABS system have to be disabled (until I can get it fixed).

Does anyone have any other ideas?

I had the same issue with my 100. It would randomly start beeping like I was sliding, after a few seconds the right front wheel would grab and pull me one direction, then the left wheel would grab and shoot me in the other direction. It ended up being dirty wheel speed sensors, coupled with a dirty ABS ring. The ABS couldn't get a constant reading, so the readings would jump all over the place, essentially making the vehicle think it was either sideways, or out of control. I could only re-produce the issue above 50MPH and the symptoms would get worse the faster I went. I would either have to coast in neutral, or slow down (40MPH) to shut the beeping off. If you open the hood and look directly under the fuse box, there is a two pin connector for the driver front wheel speed sensor. If you unplug that it WILL disable all driver aids (ABS, VSC, Trac). If you can't figure out which connector it is, follow the wheel speed sensor cable up to the inner fender wall. Please keep in mind the truck will NOT react the same with the systems disabled. I had it disabled for a week and forgot about not having ABS. I ended up laying two rather large black skid marks from locking up...as well as another skid mark. If it's snowing, go play in a parking lot first.

As for the fix, I did not replace anything immediately. I cleaned the sensors thoroughly and let it sit overnight with the battery disconnected. Long term I replaced the steering rack, and lowered the ride height. I think ultimately it was the wheel speed sensor being caked with debris.

Thanks very much!

I pulled the FL wheel speed sensor as you suggested and have had no problems.
Also, since New England is facing snow in the next 48hrs, I went to a parking lot today (been snowing/sleeting in VA) and got a good feel for the brakes.

Weather in VA sucks today, so I'll be leaving tomorrow morning, stopping for lunch in NYC - I usually make the long drives overnight, but figured it'll be safer to run with the plows and salters out during the day.

Thanks again, 2000UZJ!
