Finally got some time to work in the shop this week and have made some progress:

hopefully I will get bamaheel's set (on the left) fitted this week, and then one more night in the shop and I should be ready to fit the other two sets. Zack and Billy, let me know what days in the next few weeks you might be able to come up and fit these up.

Looking good Matt. I might look into getting some of the mesh wlded onto mine if you could work it in. My wife complains that her heels get hung in between the rails. That's the price I pay for a "Trophy Wife". Lets talk about it at the next gathering.
PS Hope the rebuild at the office is going well. Glad to hear our group fared well through the storms.

no problem, I've got plenty of the mesh left over. It is easy to work with too so the hardest part will be getting the sliders off and back on.

Do you think they will work on my 92 4Runner?

i really need to check this section more often

I am pretty flexible next week just shoot me an e-mail and Ill work with you

I'll be in TN the 23-27 for field work

they look great I cant wait! What do you recommend for paint?

Rustolium semigloss black, is what a few have said match pretty well with the arb bumper

I'll be out of pocket between Monday and Friday next week, but let me know what time is best for you and I'll make my schedule work, plus the girl I'm seeing lives in moody so I need a good excuse to go see her

Very impressive looking sliders, they look as good as any I have seen.

Thanks. Two sets down, one to go. Wild install party last night, too bad I was under the truck for most of the time.

Haha that beer is dangerous!! I didn't know I had that much until I woke up this morning, next time when the 3 guys standing around are telling me the beer is strong I'll listen.

Iv got my sliders slid out in to the sun. I just put my first coat of primer on. Walmart didnt have the textured paint I wanted so after work I'll go check the auto part store.

Can't wait to have them painted and installed.

I started at noon, a broken finger and 4 hrs later my sliders are on... Pics are being uploaded and tonight I'll post a link.... Now I'm going to take a shower and go to the creek!

The first arm on the passenger side, the one that bolts to the frame took a long time to get lined up. The hour I spent crying like a little girl took up time as well. I was pushing with everything I had trying to get the arm to move just a little bit and all the sudden it just "went" and when it went my finger was between the slider and the frame.... It was a stupid mistake that happened because I wasn't thinking and was in a hurry. And the last arm on the driver side, being so close to the gas tank took a long time to a wrench back there to hold the nut in place. A body lift would have made a world of difference there. After I finally got that bolt on I realized my wrench was pinned. so I had to pull it back off reposition the wrench so that I could retrieve it once the nut was tight and that took more time plus I was doing most of this one handed.

I'm really excited about getting mine, Can't wait! Should I go on and romove my factory step rails or just do that when I come up for final fitting!!!
