Et all,

Looking for sliders ... preferably u-bolts or a non-drill/non-weld install.

Any ideas,
TIA,
Cahil

Ken Hanna at Hanna, makes a high quality product - "Pismo Jim" runs the sliders [his are the proto's] on his 60 series. I have Ken's products on my FZJ80.

Know what you mean about the bucks :D

Joe

I didnt see any 60 series products. Does Hanna make any?

P.S. Ken Hanna makes them without the fender hoops too.

I beat the tar out of my Slee set at Katemcy last winter. Couldn't damage them.

I got a set for my FJ-60 from Luke at www.4x4labs.com. They are similar to the ones shown on the 4runner on the home page. They bolt to the frame in two locations and don't interfer with the OEM skid plate. Nice guy, nice product.

A couple of people asked me to post some PICs of my sliders. We make them out of HREW tube .120" thick. Fully welded and now come powder coated. The ones in the PICs are NOT powder coated!

Thanks all, for all the pic's and advice.

The conclusion for me seems to be the inevitable concerning the bucks, and I'm not talking deer here. It just seems like to much fun to not home brew my own sliders.

Anybody got a welder to spare ??? How about a mandrel bender ??? I see a welding/machine shop starting to grow in my garage !!! Already got a grinder ...

No, but really, I will build my own. Gathered some great ideas.

Cheers,
Cahil
