I know it generally takes aftermarket 6 months to a year to catch up with accessories, but wondering if there are any options for sliders out there besides Rock Slider | Marlin Crawler, Inc. or custom? Hoping Slee or Hanna will come out with something soon.

What part of the country are you in?

I would call the closest fab shop (slee, demellio, hanna) and see if they are interested in making them for the 2010 Runner.

Let your truck be the test truck and you probably would get a good deal and then you would have a badass set of sliders.

Good idea. I'm down near Santa Barbara, Calif. I'll have some good pics after this week. I'm taking it into the mountains again.

beast,

I think the frame is near-identical to the '03-'09 4Runner. I'm sure there will be differences w/ body clearance and mountings on the frame rails, but it should not be a problem.

Popular sliders are shrockworks. Hanna did some for the last gen 4Runner, you could contact him.

I read somewhere that the frame is identical to the FJ Cruiser.

No, the FJ Cruiser has a shorter wheelbase. I believe the 4Runner runs a 109" wb and the FJC @ 105"

They are both based on the 120 Prado (which came in wagon and 2 door). This explains how Toyota could make both based on one frame model.

Your frame should be identical to the '09 4Runner, in that case.

Do you want bolt on or weld on? If you are cool with weld on, all up Stubbs Sliders. He would have no problem making you a set exactly how you want them.

I checked out Stubbs Sliders - RockSliders -

I'll just have to wait until he has a 5th gen test mule to fab up a set.

Do you have KDSS on your TE? If so where do those lines run? The lines will have an effect on the design of the mount of the sliders. I'm sure a lot of the 4th Gen R&D can be leverage for different mounting solutions, but the devil will be in the detail.

Yea, it has the NAV - KDSS package. I'll take a few pics of the undercarriage and future slider area and post them up.

Beast, do you have pictures of the undercarriage yet?
