Big thanks to mthomp6 for shipping them to me!

They're sitting at Greyhound Package Express. Will pick them up tomorrow and bolt them on.

Pix to follow.

mthomp is a cool guy and real cruiser head, my father bought a beaut. fzj80 from him................just letting you know....

Right on Mac

Those sliders will complement your custom bumpers very well! .. Damn, Your rig will be looking sweeter than ever !!

As they say in NYC & MVY: GIT 'R DONE!! :flipoff2:

I'm sure there are tons of trucks riding around the vineyard with that across the windshield in 6" high white letters.

Oh, one last thing: PICS!!! :flipoff2:

I haven't seen any GIT 'R DONE stickers on the Vineyard - in Provincetown they are quite popular

Very cool... can't wait to see the pics. Still trying to convince the wife I need sliders for the 4-Skinner. I'm going with Slee... no question about it.

That’s going to be real cool!
I assume you are going to put them on yourself?
Can’t wait to see your pictures!
DMX

Sheesh Mac...in the words of someone else on this forum (gosh I wonder who that could be ;) ) "THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PICS".

And I not only want to see pics of your virgin sliders installed but also 'dem sliders being used :D

If my glass wasn't already filled with "No Fear," "Fear this," and "Calvin pissing on a Heep logo" I'd have those white letters blazened on there. :D

I know, I know. Went up to Port Authority bus terminal to Greyhound (picture Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant) yesterday thinking I could muscle them into a cab or even the subway to get them home.

No way, those suckas are HEAVY!

Heading up today again in the truck and try to find parking. What a ball-ache.

Yeah, it's the one thing I can do living in this cesspool. Bolt stuff on.

Anything remotely more complicated than that, I don't have the space for.

Actually Northeast has been a topic of discussion in these parts... back to Boston, or the burbs of Boston.

We have close friends that moved from NYC (10-yrs there) to Littleton...they are talking about moving SW. As you know the winters a little harder in Boston area than NYC area!

You can't go wrong with Bean Town. My sister is in Hingham and I have a place in Falmouth (only an hour from Boston). So you have some good wheeling in the area. If you make it up to So NH we can wheel on my 500 acre farm.

I grew up in Pembroke. South Shore has been where we've been looking. Mostly Hingham, Norwell, Marshfield and Suxbury.

Been in the city 15 years now. Crazy. Moved here thinking 5... 10 later I'm still here.

I just might take you up on that 500 acre farm offer!

I need to rig up some rod holders for the roof rack - any hints?

I use a plain old Barecrafters ski rack. Works great. Thule also makes the Castaway. It's a rod rack with a lockable box to protect the reels.

Nah, go old school. Cut some notches in PVC tubing and u-bolt those suckas on.

For the front I used some old clips my Dad had.

TJM rod rack on the front that I had to bandsaw in half. They were originally intended to hold rods up and over the hood to the roof. Crazy.

I think old school is the way to go - looks like I have a project this weekend.
