I haven't seen any threads talking about when the new 4" Slee lift is going to be ready for sale. Anyone know? Christo?

I heard sometime around mid to late Feb...but that's just what I heard -- not from the source though so I take it for what it's worth...

You thinking about 4"?

You saw the 4" eye candy thread ?

Slee made a very brief comment on his up and coming 4" lift . He mentions that it will have heavier spring rates than the 850J/863's , but will still achieve a fairly level attitude . The coils are designed to work with a heavy truck . IE : Bumpered , slidered etc etc .

Dats all I know :)

Yeah, something taller than my set-up. I like Tyler's set-up, (I would need some J's for the front, and the caster plates), but I'm curious to see what the 4" is going to be like.

I installed the cup holder recently ... and on a drive tonite , I think I spilled more apple cider than I actually drank ! Seems I need to load the rear with more weight . I'm hoping the full size spare on 16x10 steel , and the replacement of the jumpseats will cure my bucking bronco *L*

T Y, i bet you just need to wait a tad and let the springs settle a little. I know when i got my lift it was a bucking bronco for about 2 months. Then it smoothed out. Adding weight helps a ton. Oh, and check the air pressure you are running in the tires.

All this talk is great and all, but...Christo...Christo???

Maybe Christo will bring a REALLY BIG TRAILER to Cruise Moab. And we should bring our check books and cash!!! :D

Like this one? :D

OK, here is the skinny. Ordering production springs this week. Coming sea freight from Oz, so we are looking 6-8 weeks soonest. Rest of the parts will be shared with 6" kit, but use caster plates instead of arms.

Thanks Christo!! :D

Christo, is there a maximum tire size you recommend for the soon to be 4 inch lift? Or more to the point would you recommend 35's for this lift?

Also do you know the difference in castor correction between the arms and the plates?

Thanks,

Sounds great!!! Thanks Christo!

Thanks,

With correct bump stops you can run 315's if the tire/wheel combination is correct.

As for correction in caster with arms & plates, have not done a direct comparison measurement on the same truck. They are probably pretty close with the plates a little less. However plates will always be a compromise solution since it does not address the rearwards axle movement with large lifts. Also grinding of control arms are necessary to ensure that tie-rod and arms do not interfere with each other.
