Up for sale is a 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser with 182k miles. Asking $12,000. I have three land cruisers and would like to make some room for something different. Mechanically solid. See below for a list of work done as of recent.
Oil changed
New air filter
New spark plugs
New EGR vacuum solenoid
New intake cleaner hose
New throttle body gasket
New intake/exhaust manifold gasket
Brakes done recently
New head gasket
Head gasket was done but it didn’t need one. Old HG was intact. Coolant was getting in the cylinder head from a blown gasket in the intake manifold. PO was set on it being the HG. Took his word for it.
Other pros:
ARB roof rack
ARB on board air
Practically new 33” BFG KO2’s
Comes with a used two inch OME lift kit
Interior is in really good shape
Aftermarket Bluetooth stereo
No rust on the frame
Lower miles than any other 80 series you’ll find
Center locking diff
Under 200k miles
Cons:
Cracked windshield
Cracked dash panel
Dent in driver side rear quarter panel
No fender flares.
I was going to put new flares on, but if I might sell it, I figured I should let the new owner put on the flares they would like best. OEM or aftermarket
$12,000 or I am open to trades for other toys and firearms. Has to be the right trade, though. I don’t need to sell this. If no one buys it, I’ll keep working on it. This thing is an investment. In 10 years, most of the 80 series will have 500k miles on them or be rusted out. Only going to go up in value. Better investment than the stock market right now.
