So my doors slam easy and any time someone gets in i have to warn them to just barely shut the doors. Driver and passenger side do it and it seems like the weather strip has just gotten thin in this 100f arkansas weather. If i replace the weatherstrip, which i currently don't have any leaks, will this help my problem? I can live with it but im preparing to revamp as im almost to the 200k mile marker and need to drive it a few more years.

on other cars/trucks i have inserted foam backer rod (round foam usually used to fill cracks before caulking) comes in many sizes you might find some in lowes ... anyway you insert the round foam rod into the hollow part of your door weather strip might have to cut a small slit/hole to do it... sometimes just a few inches of the foam rod will help... other times i've pulled it into the weather strip with a string like you'd pull wires through conduit (fills the area once filled with air with compressible foam) I've even used rope.... where do you kill ducks in AR?
Have you looked at the rubber stops? My trucks not here right now so I can't be specific, but there are stops the door rests against when closed. The weatherstripping is just a seal. If the stops are worn or the latch is out of adjustment the doors will slam instead of clunk closed.
