I noticed I have TONS (bout half an inch side to side) slop in the box that is mounted in the front of the vehicle where the frame rails come out for the bumper...right hand side...it is part of the steering linkage...first off what is this box called...second off anyone have a box with no slop they want to sell? ill post in the wanted section too.

I think your talking about the center arm.

They make rebuild kits, that is probably the easier and better route to go.

its the peice that is some sort of gearbox....has the pitman arm attached to it which connects to the steering damper...

if that still is the center arm...then where can I find a rebuild kit...and how involved is it?
