Silicon Oil for keeping your rubber looking new

Just finished some month-long tests on using pure Silicon oil on window rubber. This stuff seems to work great. I had checked the rubber compatibility with Silicon oils and found it to be an excellent treatment for natural rubber--This stuff is way better than Armour-All - by far. Plus it will not fade or wash off as the other stuff does.
You can usually find this as a printer additive--lots of large network printers use this as a lube for the rollers and such.

I saw silicone oil online used for treadmills. Which reminded me that I've never lubed our 8 year old treadmill. LOL

I'd be interested in trying it. Let us know how long it lasts.
