So recently I ran into a problem and it cracked my side mirror and the mirror popped out of the center bracket (Not sure what to call it) But when I got the mirror replaced I wasn’t sure of how to get back in and I tried to push it the mirror back in so that it would lock amd stay in place and for now I have resorted to using clear tape so that it would at least work for now and I would be able to drive it. Is there any specific way to solve this without taking anything else off or do I have to take the whole side mirror off to get it fixed? Thanks for any help, this is really my first time on any forum so I’m glad to be here

If you're referring to popping the replacement glass into the housing it's going to take a little force and you may want to adjust the piece that holds the glass in place to make it easier. If I remember correctly I think you're supposed to pop in the top first and then the lower part second. A little lubricant on the pieces that pop in may also help. Remember to plug in the connection for the mirror heater prior to attempting to get it secured. Good luck
